Jimmy "The Rev" dan So Far Away A7X

Baiklah, malam ini temanya sayya sedang galau, galau teringat dengan drummer terbaik dunia yang sekaligus drummer Band Avenged Sevenfold, Alm. James Owen Sullivan atau yang bisa di panggil Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan.

Sedikit mengingat, Jimmy “The Rev” lahir pada 9 Februari 1981 dan meninggal pada 28 Desember 2009 tepatnya diumurnya yang masih 28 tahun.

Banyak lagu yang ketika sayya play jadi teringat dengan Alm. The Rev. Salah satunya adalah “So Far Away” sayya pribadi benar-benar bisa hanyut ikut sedih apalagi ketika melihat videonya, merasa ikut kehilangan meski belum melihat secara langsung sekalipun. Video tersebut terlihat jelas mengisahkan tentang perjalanan The Rev dari dia masih kecil yang sudah sangat hobby belajar Drum, hingga dia dewasa. Para personilnya pun juga terlihat sangat kehilangan dan bisa dilihat perbedaannya antara video So Far Away dengan video clip A7X lainnya. Seperti pada tangan M. Shadows terdapat tatto tengkorak dengan hairstyle The Rev yang pada video clip sebelumnya tidak ada, selain itu terdapat tatto di dada Synyster Gates bertuliskan “FoREVer” sebelum The Rev meninggal tatto tersebut pun belum ada, tatto “FoREVer” juga ada di leher Zacky Vengeance dan masih banyak tulisan “REV” lainnya seperti pada gitar dll.

Sehari pun lagu ini tak lepas dari daftar lagu yang saya putar, sungguh The Rev terkenang melalui lagu yang sengaja di tulis khusus untuk The Rev ini. Video yang di unggah di sosial media seperti Youtube adalah sasaran saya ketika sayya ingin melihat kembali sosok The Rev, mulai dari video clip saat masih dengan The Rev, pertemanan mereka, hingga kumpulan foto yang di jadikan video The Rev dari kecil hingga dewasa.
